A Welcome and a Question

Hi,

My name's Andrew and I've owned a warwick for a little under a year now. It had been my dream bass up until last summer. I have a 'Vette Standard Bubinga Active 5str. Glad to see there's a forumn just for us(!)

Anyway, my question is this: I'm switching string sets and want to go with DR Black Beauties. Will these fit my bass? I can recall having to clamp the ends of my Elixirs at the end to get it to fit well into the saddle. Any help would be much appreciated,

Unless they're tapered, you will most likely have to pinch the string at the saddle.

Or email your countries distributor for a new non-tapered tail piece(probably free).East to replace,just 2 screws. :wink:
Or as mentioned above,just flatten your B string slightly with some small flat pliers.cheers.
