This is (sort of) following on from a previous thread of mine.

After playing Nik's $$ a few times I took the time to actually ask for shifts at Woolworths in order to save up for one of my own. Today I walked into Bass People, and about 3 hours later walked out the newest member of the Corvette Club. The service was amazing, the shop was amazing, and as y'all know, the bass is flippin' amazing.

I'll post these in the club thread, but seeing as you're here, check it.

It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it's a solid piece of German craftsmanship nonetheless, AND it's ALL mine:

I'm a happy man!

Excellent score Chris.
I've played that exact bass myself. It's a beaut. You scored well there mate.BP are the best dealers I've ever dealt with.
Each bass is set up by Jeff Mallia personally. It's unheard of to find basses that well set up in shops in Sydney.
I once went in to Hydes, just up Parramatta rd from BP.I bought an amp from them not long before this,& when I asked if they could lower the strings & intonate a Squire so I could get a better idea & decide if it was for me,they said I'd have to actually buy the bass first. Then, they'd do the bridge & intonation.
That's unfortunatly become typical.

man that looks really nice!

cant wait to play it soon, congrats

Thanks for the kind words. That is certainly a sweet bass.

Just for the record - Jeff Mallia was doing all our setups when we first opened. But now due to a combination of Jeff being super busy and us opening our own service department, we set up the basses ourselves - or to be precise Matt does most of the setups.

And we are happy to tweak setups (before you buy) if the display setup is not ideal for you.

that's what Customer Service is all about. this service will continue to bring more and more clients. ... that's what I do with my dealers here in the US. They treat me right?.... They get referrals. They do not..... no business again ...ever.
