What's the USD value of a clean 99 Thumb BO 5 with a hardcase? $1000 or so?

Bump, anyone else? I have a 6 string Gibson worth about $1200 and I am trying to do a trade. Whet is this bass worth. He seems to think it is worth more than $1200. If if is I will add some cash. Any ideas? Thanks...
 
there is an immaculate 2001 I believe (it has an ovangkol neck, not wenge like the 99) thumb BO 4 at my local GC that is tagged at $999. It has been there for at least a month

There is also this 5 string with ovangkol neck for $1300


and this 5 for $1200
 
$1200 sounds about right for a BO5, assuming "clean" means good to great condition. New direction, Jay?

Well I have the three basses now which covers everything we play, but I'm gassing for a new bass. It's my guitarists bass. His brother is the bassist from Taproot. He got the bass but never really played it. Thought it would be a cool trads since he doesn't play it and I don't play my 6 string guitar anymore. A 5 stringer could be fun...

I sold my old 96 or 97 Thumb BO 5 for about $1250 with a non Warwick hardshell case (I think it was a Washburn case it fit nicely in)... It was a nice looking bass, played great and very good punchy sound...

The guy I sold it to used to be a bass student of mine and he loves it!

I felt I gave him a fair deal.
