Hello,
I've got a 4 string Thumb Bolt-on with a preamp problem. The preamp crackles and pops. I had an electronic tech take a look and he said it's the preamp. How do I get one?
Thanks!

Thanks but...

This Bass only has three knobs.
Is it possible just to get just the preamp attached to the concentric pot?
And is this stuff available in the U.S.??

Yeah sorry bout that mate.
I noticed I gave you a bum steer, but have been having PC problems & the bugger crashed when I tried to rectify that link.
Hit that link,go to the Warwick webstore & look up the 2 band with the 3 pots & contact Mark Sharp at Hanser music.Details below.
Cheers buddy.

Jeez these are expensive!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!
At least, it seems they come pre-wired so you don't have to solder anything. I can see the benefit there. But for electronics that appear to go bad often, that is still a LOT of money.

I'm sorry but I have to say that it's the biggest ripp-off that I've heard off!!

Are you going by a price quoted to you?
Or something you've seen on a list?

I'm speaking from experience...commenting on the price that was quoted for me by my local dealer in Zagreb/Croatia.

P.S. And I think that Warwick dealer in Croatia is the worst one in Europe and the expensiest one!!!
For example Corvette Standard Ash 4 (with 10% discount for cash) costs twice as more than "Thomann" asks for it!!!
And we all know that "Thomann" store isn't one of the chepeast.

P.P.S. Corvette Standard Ash 4(all passive) with 10% discount in Croatia costs 1150€!!!Thomann sells exactly the same one for 589€
( ) and it has a black hardware too!!!

I think you've mentioned that dealer before. They prefer to charge the maximum, for whatever it is.

Yep that's why they sell only few warwicks per year. People tend to order new Warwicks from dealers from Italy or Germany 'coz they get far better deals!
