Hi,
New to the forum, and was wondering if anyone out there also owns a Taranis bass?
I bought my Taranis bass a couple of years ago and loved every second of owning it. Fantastic bass - although a passive electronic configuration it really packs a lot of punch.
I'm interested to hear...
So, I have a four string corvette std and love it. My band did some shaking up of our tunings for our new album, so I now have the need to be able to get down to 'A.' I'm more of a four string guy than a five, personally. I've heard that the Taranis is set up 'BEAD,' which I think I could...
Hey there, I have some questions about Taranis, in which i am interested right now, and the pickup config. looks quite interesting. I've never seen a Taranis review, I've never seen a famous bass player playing a Taranis, and I've never seen Taranis on youtube. Does it mean that it's not as good...
Hello everyone
I have a small query and would be happy if anyone could inform me on some specifications between the Warwick Corvette Standard (Swamp Ash Body) and Warwick Corvette Taranis.
Apart from the Taranis having Low B tuning Black Label strings: 4-string: 065" - 135" & The Corvette...
Hi
I recently bought a Corvette Taranis 5 string (black). It didn't come with bees wax (not sure why...). Should I be waxing this guitar? Which parts should I wax? Where can I get wax from?
Thanks
Adrian
Just some pictures of a warmup show at Avenue Theatre in Edmonton before we enter the studio.
Aside from van troubles (i hate traveling from city to city) it was an awesome show.
Not a Warwick, but i like this picture none the less!
Last but not least, a small crowd shot.
Upon looking up The Corvette Taranis on many online musical retailers that deal Warwick, the Taranis always comes up as Discontinued.
I already own the 4 string, but im thinking about buying the 5 string version aswell...however, like i said...every place i have checked says it is a...
Went to go get my Warwick Corvette Taranis setup today.
I am bad with money and ended up walking out with one of these aswell.
Ignore my Purple walls...people make fun of me enough!
Hey, guys,
DBG just announced that they are running a summer sale on Corvette Standard and Taranis basses. The sale is limited to their current inventory, so it won't last forever and color choices may be limited on the Taranis.
This sale means that any US dealer can buy these basses for...
Ok....this is the last time I will initiate a post about this bass....I promise!
I'm just curious, what is the general opinion about the Corvette Taranis 4 string?
Please include the reason for your answer...you know...if you have nothing else to do...
4 and 5 string players tell...
So...where I live, no one sells Warwicks. I would have to drive over 2 hours to find a Warwick dealer. I decided today to drop into a local music store and behold! A Corvette Taranis is hanging on the wall behind the counter. It is used, but in really nice shape (the strings look old but...
Ahhh...you will love this...I've been a guitar palyer for 25 years...just took a gig in a working band on BASS...I bought a Katana NT...I knew Warwick was a premier BASS, and I thought as they were practically giving them away, an NT Warwick was a great buy...ok...to my question...I love the...
Just wondering the differences, if any. I know the FNA has an active preamp while the Taranis is passive. Any real difference in sound, to those who have played them, or electronics?
Hey guyz.....i'm thinking of getting this new bass from the new 2007 line-up. What do u guyz think? Have any of u tried it first hand? I'd greatful if you guyz could provide me with some feedback.
Thanks.
I'm looking for a 5str. and I am really digging the Taranis. It will be the standard BEADG tuning and I love the fact that it is passive. I am curious though, has anyone played a 5? How versatile will it be. Can it cover rock to funk, maybe jazz?...
