How to disable Pro IV bass amp mute switch which randomly turns on and can only then be turned off by cutting the power .

i have a Warwick Streamer standard 5 and i was wondering how difficult/costly it would be to swap the hardware on it... its currently crome... but i really like the black hardware... any advice would be great sorry if this is a repeat post tried searching for a topic like this... thanks in...

A few Thumb questions: 1.) What year did the design of the Thumb bass go from wenge fretboard to ebony? 2.) When did the neck wood change as well? 3.)Didn't the Thumb come with regular bubinga? If so when did it switch to pommele?
