    Fretboard markers

Hey! I know this may be a rookie question but it just crossed my mind so here we go: Has anyone had any issues with the fact that Warwick basses don't come with fret markers? I mean in terms of getting used to it? I'm just wondering whether it is difficult or not... Thanks!

Question about fretless Warwicks side of neck markers

I've been toying with the idea of picking up a fretless for a while now. I was wondering if someone could tell me how Warwick places the side of the neck markers on their unlined and lined fretboards. Is it one marker where every fret would be or something different. Thanks again everyone!

Rockbass corvette fretless intonation and dot markers

Hello to everybody on the forum. This is my first post here. I have recently bought a rockbass corvette five string fretless, and I am trying to set the intonation. I am having problems with the the octave dot marker. It has two dots. Wich marks the octave the first (looking from the hedstock...

    Glow-in-the-dark fret markers?

Maybe I'm just getting old (or going blind), but I've really had trouble seeing the Warwick side-only fret markers during shows lately. I find myself searching the stage for good lighting when I know a specific part, where being able to reference the fret markers is critical, is coming up. I...

    Fret Markers?

Hi one and all. Can anyone recommend a descent guitar tech who can offer a cheaper alternative to the SIM's LED's? I know SIM's rep is really good but to me they are just slightly over the top, especially when you consider the cost of a single LED is only a couple of quid. I am...

LED Side Markers Broken - Please Help!

Hi, I learned of this forum from the December 2007 Bass Player magazine. I have a 1994 Thumb NT 5 fretless. 2 years ago I broke the trussrod (it appears I am not alone). I took the bass to an authorized Warwick repair shop, and, because of the nature of the break, the luthier had to remove...

    Black fret markers?

Is it possible to have black fret markers? They would look awesome on a flame maple fretboard. If not , WHY NOT?

    Side dot markers on fretless

I have a fretless Thumb bass with an unlined neck and the dot markers on the side of the neck are where the fret would be. I found this to be of help as it was my first fretless bass and it gave an easy indication of where my fingers should be. A friend has just got a fretless Streamer and told...
