Hello
I'm a new member of this forum.
I've been playing for one year on a 1995 WW fortress one (P/J). Some days ago i found a Fortress one Limited Edition 1994 with ebony fingerboard to sell. Since the seller can't provide any soundclip, I came to ask some specifications because I have...
I'm just wondering what fingerboard spray is best to use on a Wenge wood - I have used Dr. Stringfellow Lem-Oil on my other basses with no issues but they're not Wenge - Can I use this stuff without any issues or should I buy another bottle of something?
I ordered a custom afzelia Corvette fretless from Warwick about a month ago, and now I'm a bit worried that I did not specify the cuts of fingerboard ebony and body afzelia more specifically.
When I placed the order, I was basing my choice of afzelia on the uniform looking cuts used in the...
I was at one of the local GCs today and they had an '06 Corvette Std. 4-string fretless in Bubinga with an Ovangkol neck and a beautiful, highly figured Rosewood fingerboard.

The salesman told me that Ebony...
I was wondering..........
Warwick's choice of body woods have expanded tremendously in my opinion, but the choice of fingerboard woods has remained the same. Is there maybe a wood you guys like to see being offered that looks or sounds different ?? Pau Ferro ?? Purple Heart ?? Why not Bubinga...
what exactly does all this mean? is it four stripes of ovangkol with three small stripes of the body wood (swamp ask in this case, the vette $$) in between, the laminated all over?
Hey guys,
I would like to know if it would be possible to have a fingerboard made of bubinga pommele. If not is it entirely impossible or would it just be too expensive? I'm willing to pay a lot.
hi im wondering whether it would be a wise decision or not to get a ebony fingerboard on a corvette double buck. Asthetically i like it better and i see alot of high end basses with it (dont hold me to that.) . What would it do to the tone as apposed to the wenge and is it that durastic? Thanks.
I notice that Warwick uses wenge for all their fretted fingerboards,
but ebony for their fretless fingerboards. Anyone ever de-fret one of
their fretted basses with the wenge board? Any reason wenge would *not*
be a good choice for a fretless board? I'm aware of ebony's strengths
for a...
