I have nothing to say against the Rockbasses except for this one thing. My Rockbass' battery panel is bolted with 5 screws. Usually guitars/basses with active pickups have covers which can easily be removed by hand. So far I didn't have trouble of dead batteries on stage but it might happen some...

Hi just got this Stage 1 , she's in great condition obviously not played all that much . I'm wondering what year the bass is from as it has no SN on the headstock or anywhere that I can see !! Any Info on this bass would be great . Best Adrian
