Hey guys,
Im brand new to the warwick forum i actually dont own a Warwick (yet but soon very soon) and im looking at getting an Xtreme 10.1 and a 411pro and a 115 but i dont know if its worth the money to get the NDs or stick with the pros? Also i noticed the NDs are wired as 8ohm so if i use 2 411s will they drop to 4ohm so i can use just the 10.1 xtreme to power them? Aslo the 411pro with the high end driver has 10s that are rated higher in wattage so does that mean it has better drivers as well or are they just wired differently? And my last question is how sound wise does the xtreme compare to like the SVT solid states and the SVT classic and how much sound difference is there between the Xtreme and the ProFet? i know its a wide question with everyones opinion being different on sound but a ballpark would be nice. Thanks a lot guys i appreciate the help Im a big ampeg fan but i want some variety and ive been reading that the Warwick amps seem to be a real solid product so im looking at the Xtreme and possibly some 411s or an 811Nd with a Corvette $$ or steamer LX so like i said feedback is appreciated, rock on!

Hey mate & welcome aboard.
If you're an Ampeg fan, you might like to check out the Tubepath series. Come in the same 5.1 & 10.1 versions, but the Tubepath is a more tube oriented amp. I've heard sound clips where it was a sheer guess to pick the SVT 2(non pro) from the Tubepath 10.1
The X-Treme is a good amp, with alot of eq possibilities.
The Pro series are also available in 8 ohms, just like the ND's, but there is a 411 Pro available in 4 ohms if you wish to run just the one cab.
Most dealers usually stock alot more of the Pro series, over the ND's, especially in the USA. You should check for availability before deciding.
Sorry I cant be of more assistance, but talking amps & cabs arent one of my strong points.

Alright thanks for the input greg. I'm really trying to be some what cost effective though and the tube paths are a little more than what I wanted to spend :/

I have an Xtreme 10.1 and a 411 ND cab and I have to say that I love it. The sound is incredibly crisp/clear and you can get a massive range of different sounds out of it with the EQ.

As for how it stacks up against other amps I am not sure as I have only used a few other half stacks.

the 411pro's are a deeper cab with more BOOM than the neo's, but saying that the neo 8x10 is a killer cab with so much bottom end you wont know what to do with it! The neo cabs have a more defined mid range & seem "Louder" than the 411 pros, and are 1/2 the weight. I use the neo411 and neo115 and found this to be a rig of doom! Great focus & bottom end on tap & Loud!

you can run your amp @ 4 ohms, so 2x 411 pro's will work. That will be more power than you can poke a stick at.

I find the warwick cabs in general a little more defined & clear in their sound compared to the ampeg cabs. The ampeg 8x10 fridge is a bit of a mud machine in my ears, but the warwick stuff is i guess "Clearer".

These are just my observations, hope i helped.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies I appreciate your help :). Unless I find a GK or ampeg can I like its safe to say I'm on the official warwick hunt. I'm definitely going with the xtreme 10.1. I just need to hear the diff between the neos and pros then I will be ready to invest :D. Thanks again
