The Gain control adjustment is depending on the used Bass.
Clip LED - Indicates the optimal input level

EQ-Section

Bass 80Hz ±10dB

Mid Level adj. freq. 250Hz to 7kHz ±10dB

Hi 9 kHz ±12dB

Boost level +3dB or +6dB

Voicing:

Bottom 70Hz +5dB

Contour Notch Filter 320Hz -16dB

Growl 220Hz ±10dB

Attack 1,1kHz ±10dB

Speaker Connections

The quantity of the usable speakers depends on the impedance of each one.
Important is to attend the minimum output impedance of the amplifier (Xtreme
min. 4Ω). You have the following possibilities.
Amplifier with min. 4Ω
• 4x 16Ω Cabinets
• 2x 8Ω Cabinets
• 1x 6Ω Cabinet
• 1x 4Ω Cabinet
Connection Example:
- Xtreme -> speaker cable -> WCA 411 Pro (8 Ohm) -> speaker cable -> WCA
115 Pro (8 Ohm)
By using more than one Cabinet interconnect all further cabinets.

So.. the "GROWL" pot is centered at 250Hz, so we have an official answer about the warwick growl

everything makes sense except the contour spec. is says its a notch filter centred on 320 htz which is obviously the mid frequency that it cute or boosts but i thought that the contour boosted highs and lows too (opposite to teh mids)...

any ideas?
