It popped on the forum several months ago, run a search on the forum.

Contrary to what he's writing on his website, he's not an authorized dealer, and has no ties with us or, AFAIK, our current distributor. I would not recommend buying there, but hey, it is just my opinion...

I can't say this with any authority, but I read a while ago that his story is that he bought Dana B Goods entire Warwick inventory before the change over to Hanser (Prior to US Music), and that's why he has so many basses in stock.

Alex said he's not an authorised dealer, so he's lying about that on his website... I wonder what else he will lie to you about.

His prices don't seem all that amazing either.

I'd say be careful if you're considering dealing with him, even if he's genuine (in that he genuinely has real Warwick basses in stock).

They're effectively second hand (even if he hasn't taken them out of the box, he bought them as an end user - not as an authorised dealer, so the basses are technically second hand), and you will not necessarily get any official warranty support them.

Personally I think it's better to find a real Warwick dealer, even if you pay a little more.

;)

Maybe someone at Warwick should remind him he is no Authorized Dealer...

His prices are just too high... But you can have discounts.... Not clear enough for me... I'll pass thanks...

Well, at least part of that isn't the case because Dana B is still selling some Warwick items (amps and a few basses) on eBay.

Interesting... I can't remember exactly where - I think I read that on talkbass.

He gave me a price of 1710 plus fees for a flaming blonde 5

If you click on this link from the FAQ section on his web site, you can see that he actually states that the basses were obtained from DBG:

Just wanted to see if anyone dealt with him before I decide o buy from him. Price seems right but still somewhat hesitant
