wich pickups ?!

Hello,

I need help for choising wich pickups on my custom shop !!! Can I have a description of differance between EMGs,Bartolinis and Basseline pickups ?!

I only play on some MEC pickups and EMG-HZ .. For sure, I want some jazz pickups but witch one ?!

I agree with Doc here... Barts are not a wild sounding as MEC, which gives you a more rounded tone with less peaks, therefore making them suitable for playing some jazz.

To be absolutely honest, though, I play jazz with my MEC pickups all the time and i like the tone I can get out of them. Remember that it's all in your finger when it really comes down to it, your bass is just a tool.

I totally agree (what else??) with Ollie. I play a Vette $$ 5 which has MEC Humbuckers and i can every stuff with it ...i think they are perfect for jazz! What bass are you looking for?
