Wich cab as standalone?

im looking forward to buy a profet 3.2, but i dont know if i should buy a 1x15 or a 4x10 cab with it...

I want some deep fat tones that will shake the ground, and a growling mid, but i want quick response aswell.

what do you think would be the best solution?
 
Personally I'd go with the 4x10...I'm not that keen on the sound of 15s without a 4x10 with it. The 10s put out plenty of tight bottom - the 15s tend to sound a bit indistinct to my ears.
 
Definitely a 4x10. A 1x15 is a compliment to the 4x10 for low end, but seldom works as a single speaker, Hellborg cabs being the exception.
 
WCA 411 Pro works great.

I have seen the WCA115 used on it's own with a Pro FET 5.1 head and it sounded so good it almost knocked me over. I was really surprised that it sounded so good on it's own (player was using a Corvette STD Bubinga 5 string).

Having said that, I'd still go for the 411 Pro. I do think it's more versatile as a standalone cab.

i agree with the others in saying that as a stand alone cab, the 4x10 would be your best bet.
 
I'm gonna have to disagree with everyone here and say get a 115. the 115 will give the huge sound you want. If anyone here has heard my recordings, i'm using a 115, and it sounds awesome! ;)
