Which Finish?

G'day,

Just wondering what finish people prefer on a Corvette $$. I really dig the Burgundy Red and Emeraude Green but so hard to decide. I've never seen the $$ in Ocean Blue.

So what tickles your fancy?

Overall I think the Swamp Ash looks best in the natural oil finish. I'm not a big fan of any coloured oil stain on the swamp ash unless it has the high-polish finish, which I find brings out some some nice depth in the grain. In which case the Burgundy red and ocean blue are my favourites.

I like the nirvana black because it makes the PUs to disappear a bit (not very fond of the looks of the open pole MM)

Ocean blue doesn't fit very well, honestly. I saw a double buck like that 3 months ago. :x I'd go with NBK. It's the best finish for the $$ and the one mine has.

I had this exact same question! I was logging on to ask this very thing. I am looking to get a Vette $$ and I am torn between the Nirvana Black and the Natural.... I think the Natural has a very nice look to it and makes the bass seem less aggressive (I don't play aggressive music). I have never seen the Natural $$ in person, though, and that is my hesitation.

I have to agree that dark color finish like Nirvana Black makes the vette $$ looks better.

Same here. I got black. My first choice would have been tobacco, then black, then honey violin...

mine's natural and looks absolutly gorgeous,it really shows the grain off a treat. + its a real nice piece of ass--sorry ash
