which Corvette fretless to get ?

hi,i already have a lovely active Ash fretted Corvette PS & am wanting to buy a fretless to go with it just not sure what to get.
i will buy from Thomann,as they have the Pro Series at silly prices at the moment.
do i get Ash Passive
Ash Active
Bubinga Passive

i want a pretty versatile bass that can do a nice "organic" tone up to a "nasty snarly" modern tone,like this

unfortunately i can't try before i buy so it is a bit of a gamble.

lol i bought a Pro Series Thumb bass wich should be here in a few days.
 
I'm also thinking of a better/additional bass; I have a Corvette Rockbass (4-string fretless) and am wondering whether to go for a five-string fretted (or fretless) or the Pro series 6-string fretless Corvette. I like playing fretless and the Rockbass is good. Will i notice the difference? What about a Jack Bruce fretted 4-string just because i grew up with Cream! Any suggestions anyone?
 
I don't think you can go wrong with a Pro Series,my Corvtte is a superb instrument,at the prices Thomann are selling them for they are an absolute steal.
they are the bargain of the year.
 
Thanks that's helpful! Now I just have to decide on 5 or 6 strings and fretted or fretless! :roll:
