Soooooooooooo... where is Snake wood gone these days?

I know its slithering around here somewhere….

Unfortunately snakewood is very fragile, can easily crack...
 
Would be a shame with this bass! I very much like the gloss :)

I traded it to "The Bass Place" last September for my Streamer SSII 5 string. The ONLY reason i dont regret it is because the streamer is just beyond words in sound and quality. That Thumb was incredible though, the best i ever lay hands on, but I needed some versatility and did not want to tour with a bass that would not look right with some wear. My Streamer is going strong and shows almost no wear from extensive shows and big climate changes. Kudos Warwick, you create masterpieces. Years down the road I may have a custom shop made.... :)

PS: the fretboard had "hairline cracks" in it, but none were even close to the size of the gaps in wenge. I oiled the board, had no issues with actual "cracks" per se.
 
No worries mate cheers for letting me know. I guess the bass place would quadruple the price now so I guess it will forever be a wall decoration in the store. Is that you? Nice playing and that's some crazy tats!

Yep, that's me. They sold it for $4000 a month after I traded it. I tried to buy it back and they had sold it the night before.
