I don´t care about that fancy and worldwide available Facebook photo contest, I miss OUR Forum´s christmas photo contest. It´s not holidays without it, you know...

You want to talk about fun...I get to have my gall bladder removed a few days before Christmas. :S

A nice little visit to the ER with some morphine. They said passing a gall stone is equivalent to sucking a golf ball through a straw.

Been there. Landed me in the hospital for 2 weeks because the gall stone blocked a duct in my pancreas giving me acute pancreatitis. Worst pain ever.

Hope you get better soon! I was sick this time last year, had bad abdominal pain attacks that even 2 Vicodin wouldn't touch. ended up getting the appendix removed and I've been better since. Good luck!!
 
As shaft nicely said it, tht photo contest was not a success last year... I take part of the blame, but tbh the main reason is that we don't feel the same about this anymore. It used to be simply fun...
We can prove it still is, and maybe we will have it back if we post our pictures anyway, just for fun :)

Oh my. Have I just committed to think about a picture for ages, only to take a totally different one on the very last day, like I did last year?

Oh - when is the very last day? Even if it is just for fun, we ought to have a deadline.

This the The Warwick Forum - The Universal Good Vibe Zone. And this topic is in Maddrakket Cafe section. Unfortunately you never met Maddrakkett, Di Marco, so you cannot remember a guy that was still posting funny pictures with funny shoes in the hospital, and was making us laughing, and crying, and feeling human, hours before his death.

I guess our lives are slightly better, and we can still enjoy Christmas time at least as good as he did.
 
Now I regret asking about the pic contest. Sorry for opening Pandora´s box (again)...

Let´s do like nobody asked or mentioned it.

BTW, I don´t care about the prizes, I only wanted to have some here, forum´s been kinda dead and grumpy lately.
