Just wondering what the most popular Warwick model is from a sales point of view. Personally I would had thought the Streamer but I see more and more people playing Corvette's so I wonder if its that model.

Yeah I think you are probably right about the Corvette Standards being the most popular model. Part of the reason why WW moved production of the Corvette standards out of the German factory was because it was taking up too much time to meet the demand for them, so I guess they are probably the most popular model.

I would guess Vette $$. At least recently, and that is why they remain WW and Std. Vette moved to RB. Of course, I'm guessing! :)

If by popular you mean "best seller" I bet is the Corvette Std. because one simple reason: It is the "less expensive" true Warwick model. But maybe I´m wrong because a lot of people are playing Corvette $$´s.

Now that the Corvette Std are NOT made in Germany, I don´t know, maybe someone planing to buy "the less expensive real Warwick" would save more to get a Corvette $$ instead of a Korean-made Std., I know I would.

My 0,2 cents.

I agree about the Corvettes, but on the other hand I think the Thumb bass would be the most well known one, the Streamer would be the most "dreamt of" bass due to it's price and the Corvette would be the most affordable one. But really, which is the most popular Warwick bass?
=g=

I think the Vette $$. However, because I recommend them, I think the Streamer LX is the best seller in Romania

So you use your vampire powers to make people buy basses...

The force is strong with that one... It worked on me and I'm nowhere near Romania!

+1!
very well said

but i think the one that represents the company is the Thumb. You know, it's 100% warwick, while Streamer has that black mark (the spector controversy). So, i'll go for the Thumb, as a main representative of the company.

I agree, but isn't that really a different question?

I have to think that "the most popular Warwick model from a sales point of view" is either the Corvette Standard or the Corvette $$. If for no other reason than most players won't spend more than ~$1,500 (in the US) for a bass no matter who makes it...

I works in the Netherlands too! After reading Florin's post I found myself watching pics of Streamer LXs..

You should try one live man! It is a very well kept secret indeed :-)

Have to pay a Stryker first... but maybe next.. Who knows:)

I'm bias for I own a Corvette $$, but here in Italy I think the most known are Thumb, 'Vette Standard and Streamer LX.

IMO

The most frequently purchased- Corvette $$
The most popular- SS2
The most "Warwick"- Thumb NT/BO

If it was a streamer with a big "W" on it id have it !!!! but given a choice of playing any othere bass with out a "W" then id play any "W" bass

I think even ive lost meself on that coment :))

Ohh well !!!!!!
