what type of strings are they?

I was checking ebay the other night and I saw a bass (and have seen others over time) with strings that have White wrapping around them. like the Rotoosunds that are red but these are white. anybody knows?

AGAIN THE ONES IN THE PIC ARE ROTOSOUNDS AND ARE RED. I DO NOT HAVE ANY PICS OF THE WHITE ONES RIGHT NOW. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT BRAND ARE THEY?

found one with them... here it is...
they look more greenish but newer ones loook whiter.

I think they might be Fender strings - I seem to remember having a set with silks like that.



They were Fender Nickelplated rounds - 7250's I think.

I had some decent Fender strings, nothing spectacular, but ok. Soft sounding if I remember correctly.

I have Windmill Strings from Galli on my SS1. White wrapping. Nice strings!

It was a while ago, but I seem to remember finding them to be too high tension for my liking.

i got a fortress masterman with some mysterious silver wrapped strings that were some of the best I've ever come across, but I have no idea what brand they are/were. looks like the same you've got there.

I think 7250's might have black wrap at both end's.I thought I had a pack but I couldn't find it.I do remember geting a new American Jazz bass and the strings that came on it looked a lot like the ones in your picture.

Light grey, sometimes looking a bit like silver, could be Peavey
nickel RW. I think Smith also has a wrap that looks a bit silvery.

the Red ones are my Rotosounds and since I could not find the pic of the white ones I posted that red ones there for reference and everybody could see what I was talking about when I said "wrapped". The silver-white ones... are still a mystery.

Yeah - they might. The ones I had might have been 7150s. I don't really remember.

They definitely were Fender Strings with that wrap colour, and were one of the 7xxx strings.
