I have just bought a 20 year old WAMP-280 and it sounds great with my Corvette $$.

I want to use it for small to medium size gigs. I am very green when it comes to amps. My questions are:

1. I understand that I will ideally need a 1x15 cab to go with this? If so, I see that there are two speaker outputs, so I assume that I can just buy a 1x15 cab and plug it in to the other output? Will the low frequencies automatically go to the 1x15 and not the 4x10 (not sure what happens here!)

2. There is a small toggle switch on the back called 'LO CUT 200Mhz'. What does this do?

3. Not sure about the 'OHMS' rating, but it says 'MIN 4 OHMS' so does this mean that the 1x15 will also have to be 4 OHMS?

Thanks in advance.

Hi buddy,
1- yes, use the other output. The signal will go full range on both cabinets, but you will have a louder and deeper sound
2- LOW cut lets only frequencies above 200 hz to go out through EFF SEND output. That way the FX loop is more effective.
3- i have no idea right now but better look for 8 ohms cabinet... Probably both cabs together should be 4 ohms minimum!
