As the subject title says what bass are you planning on purchasing next?

With my move to Germany taking majority of my money I won't be getting anything at least for an year. Unless I find a 5 string Fortress (German made) on sale somewhere.

TBH I am extremely happy right now. I always wanted a Buzzard, I think I want a StarbassII back, and a rockbass triumph lite. Maybe I will buy them after all :-)

Next basses when the funds allow are:

ThumbNT 5 or 6 fretless
Streamer LX4 in nirvana black stain, black hardware

This year will be an EUB year for me i think. If the RB triumph lite makes its way this far south before i lose patience i recon I'll snaffle one. Assuming i like the tone/build quality of it. If not it will be an NS NXT. Hopefully the RB will suit as it will be cheaper and i dif the headstock!
Apart form that I'm pretty happy with my stable! 2 fours and a 5, all i need.
I dont think wick makes lghtweight cabs do they? i will prob get a lightweight 2x10 sooner rather than later.

Top of my list are Infinity SN FL and FNA Jazzman LTD (02 or 04). If I can find these for a price I can afford, that is. Which may well mean 2014 at the earliest. :(

TBH, I would love to get an 8-string ´wick, but since I already will be getting a new amp soon, guess the bass will have to wait... 8:

...Infinity SN FL...
That´s a very rare bird... good luck. 8:

So is my 8-string Corvette $$ ;)

PS: Somehow, I believe that the hollow-body construction lends itself to the sound of a fretless, so I wonder why there are not more Infinity FLs around...

It's a G.A.S. gaining question :D

It would be one of those (with descending probability):

1. Corvette bubinga 5str. (as soon as I'll get it, I'll place Bartolini pickups and pre instead of stock electronics to make that baby as gorgeous as never before)

2. Dolphin Pro I 5str. I adore the sound and look of such a great amount of ovangkol in a great shape with extremely good electronics installed in a right position.

3 CS SSII 5str. Options: ovangkol instead of afzelia, green LEDs over fingerboard inlays and W logo and 'FATneck' profile.

4 Triumph EUB 5str.

My next bass will be a certain CS SS1 from the 'for sale' section ....8: Thanks sascha!

I've got maple and bubinga sorted. I just really want an ash bass to finish the trio off. Was thinking of a Rockbass $$ vette. Maybe even a used one. Gonna need to wait a year or so though. Need to get another job and finish my rig off first.

There are so many Warwicks I want that it would be hard to say which will be next, but there are a few on the top of my list if I had the opportunity to pick up another one in the near future (which I won't, but it's fun to dream!):
-Streamer LX 6
-Streamer LX fretless (4 or 5) or Thumb BO fretless (4 or 5)
-Infinity SN TCS 5
-Dolphin SN 5
-Streamer Stage II 5

Each one would add something that I want to my small collection, but technically none do I specifically "need"

mmmhhh... I will surelly let my LX4 go and may be replace it by an other 4 strings,it would be a dolphin (the one Mister DiMarco is selling is really tempting me a lot...sad I don't have money right now), an old streamer (SS1 with all wenge neck, cherry or maple body ) or may be an other SSII like the one I own. (around '88-'90...)
I need two different basses for my needs (2 bands) and I'm not totally happy with my LX (Great tone and bass but I need something more in the mids for my taste.) And I am totally happy with my SSII. (Greatest midrange voice I've heard and lows are just awesome too...)

The 20th aniversary would be nice but way too expensive (almost 10000$ ??)

so...I'll be looking for something with great punch in the mids as my SSII, neckthrough preferably... I'd like my next bass to be the last bass buy I would do in my life...

Well if you want it to be your last one , then take the plung & get that 30th Anniversary Streamer Bass .

I'm definitely GASing for a fretless, lined thumb nt (or bo) 6er. But it's yet uncertain when I will start saving up for one :)
Other than that I'm pretty happy with what I've got :)

My next Warwick will be a Vett ...

OOohhh ... you meant my next PURCHASE of a Wick ? Ain't in the cards.

My "next Wick" will be whatever I happen upon rummaging thru my own
house and stumbling upon some gem that I've neglected to play for quite
a while. That'l be my "next Wick" ... same as my "next EBMM", "next etc"
and etc :-) It's my personal "Shop-at-Home-Network", with free Instant
Shipping & Delivery ! ["Same Day" shipping is just too slooooowww .... ]

So anywho my "next Wick" WILL be a Vett cuz ALL the Wicks in my house
are Vetts [including the FNA ... really another Vett, after all].

I've always wanted a Streamer Jazz, but with all this Thumb'pin, I'd definetley would love to find a 2nd-hand lefty Thumb BO.
