What does your forum name mean?

The Katana is a special bass, just like a well forged sword. I recently came across this clip on youtube,
I have seen the movie but yet again it game me a major laugh.
(I much prefer Tarantino's humour over his violence btw)

Some 15 years ago I used to play Samurai Shodown I, when it was still a coin op. Many coins were tossed in there.
I always played with Hanzo, I thought it was just a random name until I saw the movie. :shock:
I still fire it up from time to time on my PC (now for free :D), what a great game.

Just for the record Hanzo from Samuri Showdown was a real person. Tarantino just made up the grandson. Carry on. :D

BYW, there's guy on TalkBass with the name "saxnbass" or something like that and I had a long conversation with him as I though he was you. He finally got a bit pissed off at me when I started calling him stuff only you would understand. And when I finally started praising Warwick he hang up....... :shock:
 
Way back in high school I had a band that I named Mad Racket, after a Krokus song. When it came time for a web forum name, I still liked the idea of the name, but decided to fancy it up a bit - maddrakkett!

It's also how I sound on the bass! :lol:

And honest to God, I always just read thndrstk6 as a random bunch of letters and a number at the end... :o

I obviously never thought the name through! I'm def not a fan of Saxon, although we used to have a sound guy who claimed he used to be a sound guy for them.

So there's a Saxnbass who doesn't like Warwick? Shame on him... he's a disgrace to the name!

Someone started calling me like that. Had a lot of different nicks before, but most of them were pure bs. Only funny to people knowing me or what I'm making fun of - the others thought I was drug addict, sexist or like 9 years old (and pretty sexist for that age!).
So I realized it would be better to rely on names others call me :)
