What Cab for profret 5.1?????

I am interested in buying a warwick profret 5.1 bass head, but I only want to buy ONE cab at the minute for It, can anyone suggest which warwick cab would be best for this head if I Just wanted ONE cab???

I know thw head is 500 watts at 4 ohm, but if I got a 4 ohm cab would this give me the good soild 500 watts????:)

Yes, it gives you the 500W. However, you can't connect more 4 ohm cabs to it later.

A suggestion is the WCA 411-4 Pro (4 ohms) 600W

Or why not go for the WCA 410 Pro (8 ohms) 300W for a starter and expand it with a WCA 115 Pro (8 ohms) 300W later. That would give you a full rig with a 410 and a 115. Fat!
 
If you can get the full power with ONE 4 ohm cab then why go for TWO 8 ohm cabs if u can get the same power with one, whats the differance???????? if you know what I mean :?
 
You get a bigger sound with more cabs. Unless of course you get those annpying sound guys who insist on using a DI in which case there is no point in you have any cabs at all for your own sound, but that's just my personal rant.

But yeah you get a bigger sound just by adding another cab. Plus stacks just look cool.

Your amp (ProFet 5.1) produces 600W with an total cab impedance of 4 ohms. If you connect one 4 ohm cab, you have the maximum power out of your amp. WCA 411-4 Pro (4 ohms) 600W as an example.

If you connect one 8 ohm cab (WCA 410 Pro, 8 ohms 300W) you'll get about 300W out of your amp. Connecting an additional 8 ohm cab (WCA 115 Pro, 8 ohms 300W) will lower the cad impedance to ~4ohms and you'll get the full power out of your amp.

1 x "4 ohm cab" results in 500W out of your amp.
1 x "8 ohm cab" results in ~300 W out of your amp.
2 x "4 ohm cabs" results in 500W out of your amp.

Cabs connected in parallel:
1 x 4 ohms = 4 ohms (full effect out of your amp)
1 x 8 ohms = 8 ohms (2/3 out of out your amp)
2 x 8 ohms = 4 ohms (full effect out of your amp)

Your total cab effect should match the amp effect in total +/- some watts.
