what audio system?

I'm looking for an audio system for my appartment. It has to be rather small, play CDs, DVDs and MP3s, and have a really nice sound. Pricewise, not more than 1000 swiss francs (about 700 euros). My favorite so far, after some shopping, is Yamaha Pianocraft e810. Any sugestions?

Can't go wrong with Yamaha. Sony seem pretty solid too. What are your playback components? DVD player, CD player etc. F'rinstance Sony tend to optimize their stuff to work well together.
