What are you listening to..ATM?

EVERYHTING!

actually i have undertaken a mammoth ipod quest this year since sometime in may. I have decided to put my, and my partners', entire song library from itunes and all our ripped CDs onto my ipod, go to the first song, and hit play. So its every song in alphabeticl order. when i started this we have 13258 songs, and i'm only skippping a song if it the same artist, same song. so if there are tow version by the same artist i skip, otherwise i listen.

Its been pretty cool so far, im 3300 songs in. Its great listening to stuff i had forgotten i had, or that i got from friends and never gave a spin, or that my missus likes but i never heard. There are some painfull momnet when its hard not to skip an hideous track, but i have kept strong. I think the only thing i have truly hated is Andre Lloyd webber stuff. i wish that man nothing but pain for writing evita. I have listedn to metal, rap, funk, techno, soul, spoken word, comedy, beat poetry, rock, opera, classical, pop on this journey, and nothing has been as bad as that evita hog-♣♣♣♣e.

Darn that's a good idea... I ripped everything a couple of years back.

Time to work on those "running man" moves you've be suppressing for 20 years:

I've really been digging Arjen Anthony Lucassen's latest record "Lost In The New Real". The way he blends elements from so many types of music, across an album with vast changes from song to song, without losing continuity of the concept, is amazing to me. This is one of my favorites on the album. There's another, much heavier song with some great bass tone but I wasn't able to find it on youtube, unfortunately.

there's my man christian scott blowing on the horn like a titan yet again

U are right Cowtipper, that man is ace on da trumpet, but wut U think about Alex Han ? He's my favorite musician (bass players not included !) ... 8:

Han is quality as well, but i don't dig his style that much. That doesn't mean i don't appreciate his solos but he's a little too chicago (bebop) for me. But then again i don't focus on sax players as much as i should. But if anybody's in the mood to rage by themselves in their living room...

Keeping on the sax thread if a little obtuse:
