I went to a rythm section clinic a few weeks ago with Adam Nitti and Keith Carlock. That man's drumming style is fantastic.

$35 and well worth it. It was almost free after you consider the free set of bass strings and tuner in the swag bag everyone was given.

I'm working my way through it a piece at a time ned. :) Absolutely love Steely Dan and get a serious kick out of playing along to the songs. If only I could find a band that played the stuff or something similar. And seriously jealous shaft!!!! That's one rhythm section I'd love to sit and listen to all night.

I'll be with Adam tomorrow and Thursdays for the next two weeks after for some one on one fretless instruction... that is one teacher well worth the money.

His place in Nashville is really cool. Welcome to Adam Nitti.com!

<jaw drop> Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!! Enjoy the lessons! I'm hoping to get scheduled to come over to the East Coast for work around the time of Winter NAMM so will hopefully be able to swing a couple of days in Nashville on the trip back to NZ. :)

You bet! I'm so looking forward to it. I've come a long ways in the month or so I've owned it, but to get someone like him to sit down and show me best practices and techniques.. I think that kind of teaching is worth a lot more than money.

Keep me in mind if you plan a Nashville trip. We can rub our tattoos together or something.. LOL.
