maybe ill get a a ban for this:) but to anyone that has never listened to rutger gunnersen and his work with abba should give him a listen,i have learned more about melody and timing from him than anyone,i love all music from clasical to metal and have taken a lot of stick over the years but i stand by my words when i say he is one of the best pop/melodic players ever.younger guys might just laugh it off but your missing out:)

great, great song. and a brilliant performance.

Listening to old Blues trying to get some gifts from the masters...The Lead Guitar gets so much attention and trust me I love it but when I am trying to get some new licks from the bassist I wish they would show em more . Just watching thier fret positions is realy helpful.

Thanks for that Deftones link Rob, been meaning to check that album out, trying to get it right now.

My contribution to this amazing thread, I saw this DVD on Netflix, and even though I am not a huge fan of them like I used to be, this brought me back. One of the first bands I heard as a teenager that got me out of the crap I was listening to and in to the world of Rock.

This tune was suggested by Genius while I was creating a playlist in iTunes. Like the loud riff in the intro

I used to really dislike Trapt because of their singer, I saw them live on a Pepsi TV special thing, and they were awful (the singer was) Listening to them now, I still dont really like the singer, but the musicians are on their game.
