What are you listening to..ATM?

Hadn’t heard this since the late-80’s and didn’t know the title until it was mentioned in a TOTP’s emcee intro to a Roxy Music song-

This is a "special" music video I happened across on youtube. It resonates with me here in central Florida, which is home to waaaay too many trailer parks, of shall we say, the "white trash" variety. If you are a fan of Rush's Alex Lifeson, you may appreciate his sense of humor. You have to check out the t-shirt he is wearing! I am not a fan of country music at all, but this is too hysterical not to share:

On a more serious note, pun intended, this is one of my favorite tunes by a band that should have been better known imho. They have been lost in the crowd, especially since a number of bands have used some version of that name. This track is by these Atomics - Atomics | Listen and Stream Free Music, Albums, New Releases, Photos, Videos
The fact that the only reference to this band that I could easily find was on the forgotten about My Space website, says a lot. They only produced 2 albums to my knowledge - Atomics and B-Side Stereo.
This is one of my favorites from B-Side Stereo:

Yes indeed. Trailer Park Boys is one of my favorite shows (and there are several movies too). For those that don't know, it started as an extremely low-budget Canadian "mockumentary" type sitcom about small-time criminals getting out of jail and trying to "go straight". Part of the schtick is every season starts with some characters getting out of jail, and every season ends with a few going into jail. As the show progressed, it picked up quite a cult following, and eventually attracted a lot of cameo appearances. There's an episode where they kidnap Alex Lifeson for some reason. Snoop Dogg was in a few episodes too.
