Well, now you've got me listening to it too. How have I never heard of this before? This is right up my alley.

glad you liked it. If that is right up your alley, you ma pay also enjoy Go Go Penguin. Another amazing band that melds styles.

GoGo Penguin and Bad Plus I'm familiar with (I've seen the latter at least twice live).

Fans of this sort of thing should also check out E.S.T. and Tigran Hamasyan.

They finally posted this to YouTube again— fretless bass courtesy of Mark Egan and his Pedulla Pentabuzz.

The song and vid that made me want to be a rock star- the Les Paul licks and Entwhistle’s FenderXplorer-

A couple of pop sleepers by BOC off the Revolution by Night album from 1985–

Buck Dharma was the riffmeister for sure—

I’m impressed with how John Wetton’s playing complimented Holdsworth’s and Jobson’s not to mention Bruford’s intricate rhythms—

Another byproduct of caffeine induced insomnia- I must say that the raw emotion of the vocals and guitar solo make up for the polish of the studio version-

Just an aside but there was a vicious rumor going around that halfway through the tour the cowbell started demanding its own limo and hotel room-
