What are you listening to..ATM?

Fool Evolved by Bygones

crazy band. zach hill, their drummer, is absolutely ridiculous.

His main band, Hella, is also pretty sick. I highly recommend "Hold Your Horse Is" for some schooling in math-core.

yeah. everything he's involved in is amazing. I like the album he did with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez from the Mars Volta the best.

The guitarist in Bygones is Nick Reinhart from the band Tera Melos that also does some pretty cool math rock. He's a great guitar player.

More Than a Thousand's latest album. Great hardcore/metalcore band from Portugal. This album is just fantastic, whoever liking the genre should get their ears on this.

The Slackers - The Great Rocksteady Swindle

If you like reggae music and you've never heard the Slackers, you are missing out BIG TIME! These guys have been making great reggae music out of Brooklyn since the early 90's.

Not "atm" but I was playing the new Avenged Sevenfold album tonight at work (featuring Mike Portenoy on drums) and its quite good considering I think their music sucks for the most part.

Esperanza Spalding.... amazing vocals, great bass skills, and not bad to look at either!!

Damn, that's awesome...

Yeah, I just discovered Esperanza a couple of days ago and I can't stop listening. She's got amazing upright bass skills as well.

Really heavy song, and great bass solo. It's not Wooten, but it has mean tone and great groove.

heh...I remember I went to a Hole concert at da Amsterdam Paradiso (must have been more than 10 yearz ago now)...
Already from da beginning of da gig, Courtney started argueing with sum female fan that was sitting at da balcony of da hall. Tho Courtney didn't hesitate to use her mic to shout and call names at da female fan, we couldn't quite understand wut da fuzz was about...Then, during da 4th or 5th song of da gig, Courtney suddenly took off her geetard, threw it on da floor, jumped off da stage, ran threw da flabbergasted crowd and took da stairz to da balcony and started fighting with da fan...(bitch-fight !)8:
Roadies and security people tried everything to stop da fight and to kewl both ladiez down, but they eventually couldn't stop da chaoz anymore ... anywayz, end of da gig :(
