It was a custom bass by a luthier named John Birch, based on the Rickenbacker El Dorado. Later he would add a notorious "Enjoy Cocaine" sticker to it.

The video actually is an advertising for what our good fellas at the USA call "beer" (LOL :D), but the music is great... that drummer, tho. :D

Not a fan across the board but liked some of their songs- checked this out to see how good they were live. No lip syncing here-- at 3:25 the PA drops out, but when the camera zooms in at 3:32 you can hear Simon singing before the sound comes back. I like the "so what" attitude of the day since nothing was done to correct the temporary loss before the video was released (which tells me that the live recording wasn't remixed before the footage was released).

These days, if there's a live mishap, the singer drops out while the vocals keep going.

Emergency Sabbath rations and sound cancelling headphones-

After Starbucks subjected me to these two back to back when I arrived-

Now, I'm not a hater, but if I'm just not in the mood, besides I prefer my wailing with distorted guitars-

It was either that or another Spotify Gem care of Starbucks-

    This remix of Bjork's Crystalline-

I don't hate Bjork but tend not to like remixes because they either compress the hell of out of the original or they'll make the percussion disproporpiontately louder in the mix or more striking (scooping out the lows and mids).

I bought a copy of that album in the spring of 1981 when I was a freshman in college. Forum member DiMarco is also a big fan of this album-
