Weekend Jam

This is a little ditty I recorded over the weekend. I'm not sure what genre you could put it into (reggae-techno-funk-world) maybe. Anyway, I used my EHX Memory Man Hazarai to create the octave type effect and added just a touch of chorus as well. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to post an audio clip so I just added a link to my page.... it's called Simmer.
Enjoy..... at least I hope so. :lol:

Especially da first song "Simmer" reminded me of one of my favourite 80's bands called 'Japan"....
Dunno if you're familiar with their music, and their bass player Mick Karn in particular, but if you
are not, I'd highly recommend ya to listen to their (fabulous) live album called 'Oil on Canvas'.....
 
Thanks for da very kind compliments... I was really rather unsure about this track, the mix just doesn't seem "right". I dunno.

I've never really listened to Japan but I have heard Mick Karn's solo stuff and I really dig it.... he's an awesome bassist.

That's just because you *like most of us* are overly critical of yourself. The clip sounds great bro!

Thanks for the compliments!!! I'm working on some new stuff that I should hopefully have finished by tomorrow.
