Warwicks Masterpeice Your opionion?

I think the Thumb is the prototypical 'Warwick Bass', but I think the Vampyre is the best original body design of the 21st century thus far. Sure, the pickup config gives it a sound with an aquired taste, and the 5-string version could use some ultralite tuners, but as far as originality, design, artistic merit, functionality and taste goes, the Vampyre just kills it. I didn't think it was possible to have giant sharp horns and bass-clef inlays NOT come across as tacky!
 
For me, I would say their masterpiece is the Fortress One. It has a great synergy of traditional jazz tone and Warwick growl.
 
I know if this was put to a vote, it would be either the SSI or SSII, but in reality it is either the Infinity NT or the Thumb NT.
 
I do love my 2010 ltd. it is sounds great, looks great, and is versatile. I have never played the infinity, but it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I really can't decide which I would prefer to call the masterpiece
 
Streamer looks and feels the great, but not Warwick original.
Infinity looks elegant, sounds awesome, but the shape is a little too generic
Vampire and Dolphin are a little too much out there looks wise

The Thump NT, IMO, is the quintessential Warwick look and sound.

I do remember the first Warwick bass I ever saw and it was indeed a Thumb
 
i vote for the infinity cause it doesn't have a history with spector,and i think its one of the best looking bass ever.
 
I think the Streamer SII, Thumb, and Infinity are all great examples of a Warwick Masterpiece, all for sifferent reasons.

Thumb = Original Tone and Wood, the original reasons that got me into Warwick
Streamer = Trademark Warwick Sound, the standard of Warwick basses
Infinity = The other 2 plus hollow body and beautiful-er
 
I agree with Skunk Ape's opinion. Why wouldn't I? For the last two weeks I am a proud owner of a SSII but in the sound issue I would choose my streamer jazzman because I think it has a more "general" sound without loosing the warwick character. So for me a jazzman 5 with a piezo bridge and tobacco finish would be the W masterpiece.
 
Its gotta be the Infinity, beautiful to look at and sounds amazing!

Closely followed by the Thumb
 
I know its a custom shop job... but if we are talking about masterpieces, well....

Haven't tested all models. I have Corvette and gotta say its beast. Would say whole Warwick brand is masterpiece but if I have to pick up specific bass would say Infinity NT or Vampyre with some exotic woods. This was of course by looks since haven't played them.
