I thought that all the Thumbs and Corvettes pre-2010 were from Germany, but I've had 2 people tell me that some are from Romania and Czechoslovakia is this true?? Are they less valuable or desirable, (like the Korean stuff?) How do you tell the difference on the pre-2010 stuff?

Warwick from Romania or Czechoslovakia? Where did you heard that?

AFAWK:
Warwick Germany (Serian Numbers like this: Y-XXXXXXX-08)
Warwick Pro Series, Korea (Serial numbers: WPS Y-XXXXXXXX-10)
RockBass, China (Serial number: RB Y-XXXXXXXXX-09)

No Warwick bass was ever made in ROmania or Chech Republic. A couple of years ago we used to paint some of our basses in Chech republic though :-)

I have no Idea ...
Luckily those days are gone now, we have the best paint crew in the industry now :-)

As far as I know, Czech has long traditions (hundreds of years) in building instruments and they are considered good quality ;)

Actually even Framus/ Warwick story starts in Chech Republic :-)

That´s why I asked if it was the same factory as the "S brand" make their Czech models, because those are high quality basses too.
