Warwick: TubePath 10.1 Footswitch Problem

Hi Guys,
I have a Problem with my TubePath 10.1.
I have tried many different footswitches like the BOSS FS-6 or the Framus FRS2L, it is always the same problem:
I can activate/deactivate the 2nd Stage Mode but there are no reactions on the rough/smooth mode with the other pedal.
I've also testet 2 other tubepaths in different stores and those two amps have exactly the same problem.
the personnell in the stores could not help me either, so i am running out of ideas right now.

is this problem known to warwick? are there any solutions?

Welcome Mick!

There's a lot of knowledge here, so someone should be able to help. I'll start with the obvious but some of the more advanced techies here may do you better.

I am assuming that by your description you mean one switch on the pedal works but the other doesn't.

Try a known-working TRS cable and see if that works. My "broken" pedal was fixed just by switching to a balanced cable.

allright guys, the problem is solved.
obviously i'm to stupid to understand the manual.
the former user of this amp explained to me, that the footswitch only activates/deactivates the contour and not the rough/smooth mode.

so i'm sorry

Nevermind, got home and tried the solution that Mick posted. Works just fine.
