Warwick Triumph question

I am torn if i should get a 5 String or a 4 String Triumph, its a lot of money to Gamble on a 50/50 chance.
So basically im just worried on the 5 String that it will be way to bass heavy, just being too much.
if anyone has any input or clips of Triumph' s please lend a helping hand

Before spending that kind of money, maybe make a small trip to our custom shop in NYC, I think they have both in stock, you could check that out by yourself before buying...

Hi Dave, I've heard the 5 stringer, and it had a well ballance tonally. But Alex is right, go and try one!

A collegue of mine reviewed the 5-string for a magazine and I read nothing about it being to heavy on the B. I'll try to find this review and check it.

Finally got some pics up just got it last night
Tone wise sounds great only thing that is little weird is the chest rest. But im sure i have just need to get more familiar with it

That Triumph looks really cool! How's the playability and the sound?

BTW, you've got a very impressive set of gear in those photos. Are you playing the Triumph through those huge Ampeg cabinets in the back?

Koel! I love the quite simple (in a good and positive way) look of the Triumph in this natural colour. Besides that I love the beard and the Ampegs!!!!

I play the Triumph through the Ampeg cabs, i want to try out different setups to see what works best.

Haven't played one myself but I know that NS has the option of a High C setup 5str upright, which gives you the ability to hit all the notes on a standard tuned bass and almost all the notes a cello can play. Its always an option of you get a 5er and dont like the B to go up instead of down with the extra string.
