Warwick Streamer STD poss. custom?

Hi guys
I'm currently in the process of buying a Streamer std, about 10yrs old. It has the most amazing grain carolena body & comes with factory fitted 2 band active EQ.
I always thought these were passive basses & the grain of the body is a lot better than anything i've seen before on a STD.
Can anyone shed some light on this bass?
I'm thinking of a new set of black hardware for it.
Oppinions please?

Beautiful bass. It is still passive, as it has passive pickups, but it also have 2Way EQ.
