Warwick Rockcase

At the moment I have my Streamer LX4 rattling about in a Rockcase. The bass is nowhere near a tight fit. Does anybody have any suggestions to make the bass more secure in the case?

Wouldn't it be a good idea if Warwick sold foam inserts for their Rockcase which would match the countours of their popular models.
 
I used my rock case for my thumb and dolphin, and the thumb rattled around a bit, so I would stuff a towel in the extra space
 
In 2000 I paid £300 for what was then deemed to be the Warwick tour case. Gorgeous wood panels ball corners and extruded edgings/seals. It has foam inlays to fit my Fortress Masterman. Warwick seemed to stop shipping these cases about the same time though. Shame cos those fitted inlays are superb and so is the case. Rock solid with no slipping and sliding. So sorry if you're reduced to shoving a towel in. Brilliant basses should have brilliant cases. Yet may be able to get foam cut with a template? ?
 
Thanks for the reply. I have wondered about trying to get foam cut to match the contours of the bass and case. I just don't know who does this sort of thing. I suppose I'm a bit surprsied that a company who produces such quality instruments, many of which are pretty expensive, don't offer a hard case that is tailor made for the bass. Companiies like Fender, Musicman, & Gibson can do this, why not Warwick?
 
Just had another thought. There is no need for Warwick to provide a different case other than the already existing Rockcase. All they would need to do is make foam inserts available for the different shapes of basses.
 
well actually they come with to foam cushions that you can put wherever you want.

If yo dont have a stryker or something your bass should fit perfectly
 
Interesting. When I bought my Rockcase it didn't have any extra foam cushions. I think it all depends on what case you have. If you have the up-market flightcase type then they have foam inserts. However, my case is the standard bass case which doesn't seem to come with inserts.
