FYI I just bought Warwick Just A Nut 3s available through Dana Teague of DanaBGoods via eBay for $25 for a 4 string and $30 for a 5 string. You can find them at:


Posted is the 4 string only, but you can get the 5 string unit by writing to the email address in the info below:
Got any 5 string versions of the Warwick Just a Nut available? I have three basses and just bought two four string models to update my basses, but need a 5 string one, as well. Thanks.
Yup. Just don’t have them up yet. In the meantime, just send $30 to [email protected] and specify 5-string. We’ll take care of you.
 
thanks for the heads up. Is there a way to specify color? i.e. gold and etc.
 
You'd have to contact him directly (email address above), but I think these are the standard Black versions. I just spoke with him and there are other hardware parts (such as knobs, covers, etc.) that are available. Stuff seems to fall off of my two Warwicks (lost a knob and a truss rod cover!) and I can't find them, like socks in the dryer :-(

yeah... you can have any color you want...
as long as it's black.

Seriously: There ain't no color choices for JANIII ?!

But I still don't understand why you need to buy from the ex distributor, while we do have the new distributor, and NYC Custom SHop. Warwick Basses Amps & Rock'n Roll

BTW, the guy that takes care of your problems is Tyler Krupsky, same one that did the awesome job at Dana B Goods!

it is a lot easier to just hit buy it now and be done with it.

also, why isn't there a price list for replacement parts and/or an easy online ordering system that isn't strictly in euros?
I've gotten lots of used bits and pieces, and a full black hardware set simply because there's not an easy online store for those of us not in Europe.

Sorry I ruffled so many corporate feathers with this post. I saw your response the same day (Saturday) that I found the Just a Nut available from Dana on eBay. As Naetog said, without a price in USD to go by, the quoted price for the nut on eBay seemed like a no-brainer. I look forward to purchasing items from Tyler Krupsky in the future, as I plan on having a cache of Warwicks for many years to come!

Haha, don't worry, it is not about corporate feathers, it is more about having the right information here on the forum. DBG cannot hep you anymore on long term, so it is better to start a long time relationship with the right guys :-)
 
I'd say you're off to a good start with me, as I just sold about every other brand of Bass I had (including some older Fenders) to purchase three Warwick Corvettes over the past two months! I am amazed at their sound and sad i never got the opportunity to really try one before this time. You can thank You Tube for getting me hooked.

Good call on long term, but its a nice way of saying goodbye to a company I delt with for so many years. They can have this last $55, lol.
 
It's Warwick merchandise, it's been paid for, and put to good use instead of get thrown in the trash. :)
