Warwick Infinity 5NT electronic buzz?

I have problem with MEC onboard electronic buzz on my Wick Infinity 5NT. It buzz when pan pot is in the middle(hum + neck at full and hum split + neck pickup) and on humbucker only. When i move pan pot to the neck pickup there is no buzz. Same problem when eq is bypased with push pull. Any help?

It is hard to tell without seing the bas. I guess the only thing you can do is look inside for loose wires, and solder them back. Or for metal parts touching other metal parts :)
The best thing is to take your bass to a technician.
Let us know how it goes.
 
Does it buzz constantly or only when you touch the strings?
 
There are a lot of variables, and as Florin said without seeing the bass its quite difficult to troubleshoot. If you have a technician have a look, please let us know of any findings and report back! Thanks!
 
Thanks guys for advice, DiMarco - no, it's not classic buzz when ground wire no connection with bridge...
i will give Infinity to my good friend fellow bass player :D, he is master for electronic and that kind of problems...cheers
 
I am no specialist, but usually this kind of problem comes form a wrong wiring - shortcircuit somewhere. Have you tried to leave it plugged, with volume open, and open the electronics compartment and move things around? It might be as easy as that... Something touching another thing...
 
I tried everything, check all wires, any possible failure.... i think that this problem is with my bass head and Wick (MarkBass TA-501). Looks like some kind of ground loop circle buzz between head and pickups(when the bass is plugged, depending how i move it around, pickups buzz less or more). I have 2 more basses(one with passive SD and one with EMG active pickups and with them don't have any buzz)...also i check preamp, and i didn't cant find what is model is because some wires colors don't mach the wiring diagram that i find on Warwick site (i guess that this preamp have few revisions, looks like "60057" wiring), but i can see that the previous owner is solder some wires but not on the modul itself, only on pots)...
 
If the previous owner has done some work in there, it will be quite difficult to tell what, if any, damage was done. Do you have a qualified technician who can look at the bass? It definitely seems like a ground problem, or short.
 
Post a pic of the electonics please we might determin the type from the pic.

Until 2002 the seymour duncan stc was standard for infinitys on later models it should be the rgular mec 3 band like on the thumb nt.

If you need to rep,ace the pre i recomend the sd stc it is easily installed and available for 90-100 eur which I consider best value for money:)
 
It looks like there has definitely been some work performed in there...and could have done damage, or been wired incorrectly. Notice the solder with no wire attached. I would recommend a competent technician inspect the preamp. Its not hard to damage circuit boards if too much heat is applied inappropriately, or shorted out due to incorrect wiring.

Ok, first i wanna apologize for reply delay :-). I check every option for buzz prob and i determine that is not only problem with electronic on bass but also and with my bass head amplifier(MB TA-501), And only in this combination(Infinity+amp). I have 3 more basses with passive electronic that don't have prob with that kind of ground loop buzz. In the end i determine that in my house some power plug sockets have bad ground or something like that. I have buzz in club in my town, but i know that there is bad electricity wiring in the whole building.
Also i tried Infinity in MB TA501 D.I out in friend studio and there is barely noticeable buzz from pickups
.........anyway, i will give Infinity to expert to check everything on bass and properly setup it ass soon as possible....
