Hi,

I often have that problem, and I just had it right now...

When I search for Warwick forum on Google and click on the link, it leads me to MyFileStore.com. Do it a second time, and you're on the forum...

Am I the only one, and how is that possible?

Thanks.

I've just tried, I was led to dollarade.com.

Something is definitively wrong.

it seems some of the links on google have been hijacked, either that or your browser is infected with a rerouter

Well, here's what happens : you click, the forum's URL appears in the bar, then only MyfileStore arrives. If you use adblock, you'll get dollorade.com. I tried it on 6 different computer (at work, my pc, my mac, my father's mac, my mother's mac, my girlfriend's pc...)

What´s the exactly search you are typing on Google?

Google has hijacked links...had some issues with my customers on our frozen systems (they reset to default every startup, thus impossible to infect the image unless it is allowed to "thaw" and thus enter edit mode)

Is it possible it has a link was the attacks the forum had a few month ago? Because I think it since that event that it started.

Possible, but I have had other people have had the same issues with other websites with google as well, so not just the saved link to the forum may be affected. Though I agree it is a recent occurrence.

That explains a lower Traffic coming from Search Engines on the forum...

What do you mean? You restricted the access of search engines on the forum, or the traffic of search engines is limited because of that rerouted link?

I tried with yahoo, and it's the same story

Welll, same here. Also, when i write forum.warwick.de directly in the browser, it also takes me to myfilestore.com. Tried with two differente browsers already.

Hi Thibault.

I've noticed a significant loss in traffic on the forum lately. And I can see that the traffic coming from search engines went down, so now I know the reason.

What can we do in this situation?

My suggestions would be to contact the engine providers so the records can be checked and it can be determined at which stage the redirect happens

The bad links and redirect do not happen anymore. I guess the bad links came from the time the forum/website was hacked, the links could have been simply indexed at that point of time. Now all seems fine, the crawler seems to have stricken us again and undone what was wrong.

No, it stills happens when I do the Google search, with Bing it works fine, though.

Soon, peace and order will be restored throughout the galaxy, and Google's indexes will also be up to date.

Just happened to me once again.

And the main Warwick site is flagged as "this site may be compromised" by Google.
