Warwick Fortress indentification

This Fortress is going for a VERY good price locally, however to me looks like a RockBass and not a MIG Warwick... Mostly because the frets are silver coloured in the photos and not brass coloured... Or am I wrong ?

Although the neck does not look like maple as on the more recent RockBass models shown on the Warwick website.

I have asked for a photo of the serial number as it is not really visible in the current photos.

Can anyone tell if it is MIG or a RockBass ?

MIG, I can make out 97 at the end and considering it has a volute it must be mid-late 90's. Tuners still say West-Germany.

These normally have 2x volume 2x tone. the switch is aftermarket but if it works my advice would be to leave it as is.
If the frets arent bell brass it's most likely a refret, which isn't a bad thing. My Thumb has stainless steel frets now and while not original they have a much improved lifespan compared to the normal bell brass frets.

Is it normal that the truss rod cover has no text on it ?

Also, I am not sure that is a switch, rather a knob missing ?

On the pictures it looks like the rectangular cover is missing, but regardless it's quite normal for the lettering on the covers to fade over time.
