Warwick custom basses

Is there any way to make some kind of 'simulator' that allows you to choose what Warwick bass do you want, and then woods, pickups, hardware, bridge, d-tuner or not and that stuff (look for more), and then program would show you what would it look like, prize etc. That would be really helpful when buying custom bass. Tell me what you think, is this possible etc. Please don't flame.
 
It's possible, some other companies have it on their websites but not Warwick. We have actually asked for it a few times in this forum. Anyway, I doubt about it (if it ever happens) saying the total price, as this depends on your local dealer (and local dealers would hate to hear "why are you charging me $1000 more than the warwick website" - I know the local Greek dealer would).
 
This is something we have mentioned a few times in some informal discussions. The main issue right now is that we offer A LOT of custom options and this would be a difficult job to get done. But we are thinking about it and in case we do it you will all find out on time.

About posting the pricing on the site, this would be impossible, because each country has different taxes policies and it's not up to Warwick to decide how much the instrument will cost you at a certain dealer.
 
So. how doesone go about ordering a custom Warwick bass? WOuld you have to go t hrough a store that sells Warwicks (like Guitar Center? *shudder*)?

Just review the options on the website and then go to your dealer and ask them to order it for you. Don't be afraid to ask for options that are not shown on the website. The Warwick Custom Shop is capable of almost anything you can think of.
 
Well, is it possible to make some kind of form, where you can choose what kind of bass do you want, what wood, colour etc like what I said before. So basically we could explain there what kind of custom bass we want. Then we could print it and take to music stores.This is hard to explain with my english skills. I made exaple because Im sure you didn't understand a word I said.

Fully understood an a good way of getting everything as you want it: Should contain; model, body wood, top wood, back wood (if different from body, veneers (where and what), neck, fretboard, inlays, headstock (matched or not), colour, finish, PU´s, preamp, LED,s (where and colour)other options (e g PU placement, extra switches... and on and on)
 
At this point we don't have such a form for our customers to print out a description of any custom bass they would want to order, but this is a god idea and I will forward it to the web design team.
 
Do you have to order through a dealer for custom options? Or can you order direct from Warwick? i was only after a different (metallic black) paint job if i could afford it!
And to be honest if i know how much it is i could do it soon!
i guess i can order a custom via an on line retailer in Germany (*or US tho import tax could be a problem) though i am in UK yeah?!

All custom orders must go through a dealer...
 
Stinky - if you are in the UK - try ordering via the Bass Centre - I've always had good service from them. Import duty from any other country could be a killer

It would be a good idea to have some sort of on-line option form - even if you printout and take it along to a dealer
 
Want that form now!!!

Just quoted warwick for Streamer LX 6 stringer but I felt a bit confused about the level of detail I should provide my dealer, since it is a standard LX but with some modifications.

Also this is the first time that they order a custom so they are a bit clueless about the details.
 
I think warwick management are more concerened about getting the webshop up & running world wide as it's an income stream.I'm confident warwick will look at this option in due course.Personally I've never been treated as well by an instrument builder & in 20 odd years,ya can't fault a company that replaces unfortunate breakages with free replacement parts. :wink:
