So im considering picking up a 4 string 06 active corvette std Bubinga. The seller wants 350 for it and it comes with the rock bag truss rod tool and such. Do you guys think i should pick it up? If i do i plan on throwing some bart pickups in it asap.

Any help is appreciated and also anyone who has barts in an active corvette standard let me know what you think of it?

Thanks guys

If you're sure it's a bubinga Corvette and not a Rockbass, that's an absolute steal! If you decide to get it, try the active MEC's first, you might like 'em...

Well i had a corvette proline before this and i did like the mec's but i felt they were sort of lacking. I will obviously give it a test with the MECs though first.

Yes it is a active Bubinga Warwick corvette std. wenge neck and all. I will NEVER buy a rockbass.

i hope it works out and i can get it. ill keep you all posted

Bonus! Most 2006 models have an ovangkol neck, but some players (including me), greatly prefer wenge...

SHOOT i meant is was ovangkol not wenge. The guy sold it this morning not to me. NUTS

im keeping my eye out. I NEED to get a Warwick fast before i die from tone starvation. Thanks for the advice.

Yea, that was a good deal considering a new Bubinga Corvette cost like $1100 IIRC for the 4 string. The 5 String was $1249.

yeah by the time i emailed him it was gone. DARN!!!!!

im picking up a MIM fender p bass tomorrow instead for 100 bucks.......and will hopefully sell it next week for about 300! Im basically buying stuff and reselling it right now or getting rid of my stuff to fund my next warwick. Im thinking either get a cheap vette and upgrade pickups or just pickup like an fna if i can find one or a thumb (DREAMIN) haha
