Warwick Amplification Germany

Hello just wondering if my old Warwick CCL combo which has "Warwick Amplification Germany" printed on the back next to the serial number is actually made in germany since all the new CCL ND combos have "Warwick Amplification China"

they are made in china for a few years only...
and I also thought tubepath, xtreme and JH are still made in Germany ?
 
I dunno, but a beer for shure at Frankfurt. We will meet again soon :-)

If there's a "made in Germany" print, then you can be sure it's made in Germany :)
Warwick was a pure German company once (even Bavarian, what's better than just German! :D ) - and everything was made here. Basses and amps - after some time they outsourced "cheaper productlines" to China.

We planned also some room in our car for a lot of good old Bavarian Beer - I'll bring you some on Thursday ;)

I think you'll find if it says Warwick Amplification Germany it's made in Germany. The newer Chinese gear says Warwick Amplification China.

Having said that, my best advise is to close your eyes and open your ears. If you like the way it sounds, then just be happy and don't worry about where it came from.

Oh yes Eberbachl I realise that as stated in my opening post :) and yes I always been more than happy with the tone since I bought it over 5 years ago and Ive never had a problem ever with it its been fantastic (touch wood - reaches for corvette hehe that must be an old joke here). Its also had a very famous warwick endorsor play through it at a house party and he quite happy with it, however I was worried how hard he had everything cranked up except the treble (hint there as to who) twas clipping it like crazy :)

I was just wondering as it doesnt actually say "made in germany" and just "warwick amplification germany" if it was actually made in germany and if it is, I might hold on to it, instead of selling it on as I plan to invest in a bigger stack soon.
