All of my Warwick experience has been limited to Corvettes and a BO Thumb bass. I honestly couldn't tell a difference in sound between a bubinga Corvette and a BO Thumb. I did think the BO Thumb was a little more comfortable. In real terms, what would an NT Thumb Bass, Star Bass II or a Flamin' Blonde offer over a standard Corvette? Also, is a Flamin' Blonde just a deluxe Corvette? The Corvette is a very nice bass, are the other models worth the additional price? What do they bring to the table?

Other models all bring different woods and therefore different flavours of warwick tone. You have to realise the corvettes are amazingly well priced basses for what you get. Taking the thumb NT. The NT thumb will bring the NT tones - so fatter notes longer sustain and with a slightly more compressed sound to the bubinga corvette. It'll also have more snappy highs - i'd honestly imagine the bubinga corvette tone but on steroids - very punchy, snappy steroids.

The star bass has different pickups + semi acoutsitc nature which will change the tone quite a bit - i've not played one so can't comment. As for the flaming blonde its a complete different bass - hugely different woods and pickups used. Its a limited edition to be something different and special.

Thanks for the response. After thinking it through I've decided to stick with my new Corvette. I would have to part with something else to be able to get the other two. I got a price from him on the NT Thumb but not on the Flamin' Blonde. He hasn't called me back yet on the price.
