seriously, Spector fans will be laughing their butts off when they find out that someone at Warwick is claiming that the Spector site is a Warwick site rip off..................... :(

yes, because this is the easiest navigation possible...
also spector fans can say that spector developed the streamer body (but warwick made it famous hehe :)
 
Ned Steinberger made it, hence the NS name... I really like Spectors, but unlike Warwick, they seem to be a bit of a one-trick pony! They only have that one body shape!
 
website is pretty standard no rip off there. I don't really like spectors at all though because they are not half as well shaped as a warwick and they tend to be very over priced for what they are.
 
Could be... Seems less intuitive though
 
I like Spectors. I had a tough time deciding between one of those and a Warwick.

I went for a Thumb, I like the exotic woods. But Spectors are fine instruments.

And yeah the Streamer NS design was first used by them.

Hi guys nice to meet y'all, first real post on the forum, but have been admiring from afar!
Just thought i'd add my tuppence worth on spectors - alot of people do complain that they are a bit too bright and even "plinky", does seem to be the case slightly on the euro NT models ( no warwick like growl ) I prefer the BO rebop. Damn fine instruments overall though! Very nice and comfortable to play :)
 
I like Spectors but there's something that seems wrong to me... I mean, on Streamers, the 2 piece bridge makes the bass balanced, look wise... On the Spectors, that one piece bridge makes the bass "big butted" if you see what i mean... There's too much wood under that bridge.
 
Before I bought a Warwick,I looked very closely at Spector & they're excellent basses.Just a bit of trivia but several big name luthiers have at one time worked at Spector.Vinnie Fodera was a young apprentice when he worked for there.There are others that I dont remember.
 
Am I right in saying that Michael Tobias was there at some point?

Spectors look like paddles,Warwicks look like Gumby & some BC Rich's looks like a proctologists nightmare. :D
 
I like the fish inlays, hehe - I like to fish and if I had the cash would make a bass, bass - Smallmouth, Largemouth, Rock, White, Stripped :shock:
 
That thing is just gorgeous...............And the fish inlay is very very stylish..........I love it. Nevertheless, Ovangkol necks kick the butt out of Maple necks. :twisted:
