Well, some people may have noticed a slight absence of meself and no news on what happened with the corvette NT issue.

Th Bass was shipped back to the dealer, who send it to Warwick for Repair, and it should be on its way back probably at the end of the week.

Health wise, slight ailment I had earlier in the year turned out to require some treatment involving several blades and other nice instruments, and after a lot of red and other stuff it should now have been resolved. The note that if stuff had gone wrong I could have met Cliff and Dime a tad early was also quite uplifting.

So, right, I am back and it should all be good....just hope the bass is all right now :)

Good to hear you're okay Nic, I hadn't noticed you weren't online much if you wouldn't have pointed it out as I am not online regularly myself these days.

Gosh did that sentence make any sense?

Let's hope the NT will be perfect when she returns.

Yeah I wondered many times where you were since you were more or less ADHDic on the chatbox before :P But hey, very nice to hear you're OK! Cliff can wait.

thanks guys, I will keep ye posted on teh bass. Plus, less constant pain means being able to concentrate on the groove is getting easier ;)

And here I was wodnering why I haven't seen you on the chat much. Well, I'm glad to know you are all right, Nic, and I hope your $$ NT comes back in perfect playing condition. Welcome back, buddy.

Glad to hear from you again Nic, I hope everything works out ok! :-)

What happened Nick? It is good to have you back here...

PMed to avoid the fainthearted to be put off by too much gore description :P

message from Dealer re Bass:

Issue was caused by frets and was fixed. I had checked but the frets were level when I had the bass, so a bit odd the entire thing, especially since I did not hear frets buzzing or anything. Well, lets see how it goes....

Keep looking forward. I'm glad your health is back to good, as is your bass.
Have fun!

Bass Still has a Faulty nut or some such, going back for repair again (sigh). Pain is getting better and should hopefully heal to normal over the coming months

Oh well :)

Where is my PM, bud? ;-)

Bass was in the workshop is now on its way back (again) and they increased neck bow and increased bridge height by 0.5 mm apparently.
Should ship today, so lets see how it turns out. Shame it did not turn out to be such an instant awesome machine as the BO , but hey :)
Trying to eat food with the scar is hilarious :P

@boston-> Pm on the way :)

Hope you get your bass in working condition this time. And glad to hear that you are getting better from whatever gore situation you were involved. ;)

hehe, thanks man :)
Bass should arrive this week, it is a real beauty, but as the E string buzzed and killed the string quite fast I was not too happy to start with...but lets hope, it arrives this week hopefully
