U retro / thumb5nt hmmmm?

Have any of you installed a John East U retro in one of your warwicks.
I'm thinking of putting the 3 knob/2 switch version in mine and leaving the switches inside the control cavity.

Will all of that fit inside that hole?

I once had a U-retro in my corvette with the switches left inside the control cavity. It all fit nice n snug however some clever placing of the switch wires is needed

You are a bad man, I did all my mods right before John east released the U-retro to everyone outside the UK. I try not to look at or hear about these things. My good friend installed a J-retro in his Jazz and man.. that thing came to life.

I really dont think you can go wrong with any of John's preamps. I am really looking into changing the OBP in my thumb for the 7 knob deluxe with the passive tone control.
